Inspired by Brady v. Maryland - 373 U.S. 83 (1963), this site is dedicated to exposing police officers who have credibility issues. News aggregator, Blog, Soap Box. The goal here is to shine a light on bad cops throughout the USA.

Why There's No Such Thing as a "Good" Cop:

A "Bad" cop can be defined as one who breaks the law, commits perjury, fabricates evidence, or violates the rights of the citizenry. Not every cop does these things, so there must be some "Good" ones, right?
Wrong.
A "Good" cop who knows of a "Bad" cop, yet does nothing about it, is also a "Bad" cop. It's that simple.

Subject:Public Record Request - Brady List

This request centers around any type of list your agency maintains to facilitate
compliance with Brady v Maryland (US Supreme Court).

Realizing that Brady is a very complex decision, I am just focusing our PRR on
any list that the NMDAA has compiled or maintains,
that focused on police officers that might have credibility / veracity concerns.
(commonly referred to as a "Brady List")

As examples of what I am requesting, I present the following media articles
which outlines PRRs from other similar website
operators, to two different SA offices within Florida.

The operator of www.browardbulldog.org requested and obtain this list from the
Broward County SA office. (see below media article).
http://www.browardbulldog.org/2012/01/reality-tv-show-case-leads-to-disclosure-of-countywide-roster-of-cops-in-trouble-with-the-law/

The operator of www.fogwatch.org requested and obtain this list from the 10th
Judicial Circuit SA's office. (see below media article)
http://fogwatch.org/2010/01/08/the-brady-bunch/

I anticipate that since these policies are most likely in current use, they
should be readily available for release as a public record
without the need for extensive usage of information technology or clerical /
supervisory assistance.
Please advise of any costs associated with fulfilling this PRR and use the
below email address as our point of contact.

Law Enforcement Oath of Honor:

On my honor,
I will never betray my badge,
my integrity, my character,
or the public trust.
I will always have
the courage to hold myself
and others accountable for our actions.
I will always uphold the constitution,
my community, and the agency I serve.

A bad cop is someone who has violated this oath.
